We are the only steel manufacturing company in Uganda to have obtained the Golden Q certification mark from Uganda National Bureau of Standards in addition to our ISO 9001:2000 certification under the National product certification scheme through routine quality testing by National standards body [UNBS], a scheme to which the company continues to subscribe to date.
We are equipped with some of the finest technological innovations in the Steel manufacturing Industry. Our company has grown from strength to strength having started with a manual 12 inch rolling mill using imported billets from Europe, Russia and Zimbabwe and producing 1560 metric tonnes of finished products. The firm has since then expanded to eight small mills where quality and other technical specifications are controlled and monitored centrally at SRM
